Mother's Day

So, I'm a bit late with this post, but I just wanted to share a lil about the wonderful Mother's Day I got to spend with my mom!

Our fun started on Saturday night. We walked from my house to Beach Pit BBQ (we do a lot of walking!) and treated my mom to a yummy BBQ dinner that included fried pickles (yum!)

Fried pickles. Tasty.
We started the day at Starbucks, of course. Then headed to church. It was so great! Our church theme for the day way Mother's, Muffins and Music. We had a celebration of all the mother's there, from oldest to youngest. It was fun. Then after the service we got to enjoy yummy muffins and watch our children's choir perform. They are so awesome!

The muffins I made to share
After church we went back to our house and hung out for a bit then walked over to Wahoo's for lunch. Tasty!

Love :)
Then there was more hanging out at our house. We had such a great day. It's so nice to be able to spend the day family. I'm so thankful for my amazing mom and I'm glad we got to spend the day celebrating her!

Starbucks was having their frap happy hour, so my mom and I walked over and got our half price fraps! Tried the new mocha cookie crumble. Loved the chocolate whipped cream!

Oh, and Piper got to join the fun! She was helping my sis studying for her finals. Such a sweet kitty.

Cutie.
Hope you had a great Mother's Day with the special Mom's in your life! :)

  3. I want fried pickles! I've never had them, but Merlotte's serves them in the Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse books.
